The Liverpool ace named the Tottenham Hotspur man when discussing the Premier League’s best players.

Liverpool ace Roberto Firmino sat down for an exclusive interview with Goal, and bizarrely mentioned Tottenham ace Moussa Sissoko when naming some of the Premier League’s best players.
The France international joined Spurs from Newcastle in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be in the region of £30 million, but he has desperately failed to establish himself in north London.

Sissoko has registered just two goals and nine assists in 74 appearances in all competitions for the Lilywhites thus far – stats that make Firmino’s comments on him all the more strange.
The Brazilian sat down for an exclusive interview with Goal, and proceeded to list some of the Premier League’s best players:

“We have great players in English football, it’s hard to select one as the outright best. That’s why it’s the most popular league with many quality teams. We can talk about the goal scorers Salah and Harry Kane. We also have Gabriel Jesus, Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan in Manchester City, Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku at Manchester United, Moussa Sissoko and Mousa Dembele at Tottenham, Willian and Eden Hazard at Chelsea, Mesut Ozil at Arsenal.”
Spurs fans will surely be shocked to hear the Liverpool ace include the Frenchman, when discussing the league’s best players.
Sissoko has consistently been linked with a move away from Tottenham pretty much immediately after he joined the club, and is still yet to show the kind of form that he produced during his time on Tyneside.
The 28-year-old will surely be buoyed after hearing Firmino’s comments though, and maybe they will spur him on to finish the season in style.
