Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson was heard shouting at Xherdan Shaqiri for not moving enough by pitch side reporter Matt Critchley on BeIN Sport.
Liverpool were beaten 1-0 by Brighton & Hove Albion yesterday, as they fell to another defeat at Anfield.
And Henderson was apparently particularly frustrated with Shaqiri’s lack of movement up top.
“Jurgen Klopp is a frustrated man, as is Jordan Henderson,” Critchley said.
“He is one of the most vocal players in the team and he has been quite critical of Shaqiri. A lack of movement and intensity really.
“They have lacked that pace in the final third and that has been a concern to both Henderson and Klopp.”
Shaqiri has actually started in Liverpool’s last two games, with Sadio Mane out, but the £13 million man (BBC Sport) hasn’t been able to nail down his place in the Reds’ first team.

Shaqiri did claim an assist as Liverpool beat West Ham United 3-1 at the weekend, but even during that occasion Gary Neville picked up on his lack of movement.
Shaqiri’s place in Liverpool’s side could now come under serious threat, with Mane set to return sooner rather than later.
The Reds are next in action on Sunday against Manchester City, and a defeat would be disastrous for their slim hopes of hanging on to their Premier League title.
