Sadio Mane caused a scene at the weekend for Liverpool with an angry outburst when he was substituted.
He was frustrated with teammate Sadio Mane, who had decided not to pass to him when he was through on goal.
Liverpool had the game sewn up by then anyway – making the situation one which Reds’ teammate James Milner is happy to joke about.
Milner took to Instagram yesterday to offer his own unique spin on the situation.
He joked Mane was just upset that Milner didn’t get brought on.
Liverpool did not need Milner at the weekend, easing to a 3-0 victory.
Milner, 33, has made only one start for Liverpool in the Premier League so far and made only two brief substitute appearances.
He has one assist, coming in the 2-1 win at Southampton.
His most important role will be in the dressing room, with his calm head and sense of humour surely capable of diffusing the Mane and Salah disagreement.
