The Chelsea star would be a useful addition to the Liverpool squad this summer.

Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp has already been busy in the transfer market this summer, bringing in midfield duo Naby Keita and Fabinho, but his business seems to be far from finished.
According to a report from the Sun, the German wants to bring Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish to Anfield this summer in an attempt to add more creativity and guile to his midfield options.

The Reds should attempt to sign Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek instead, however.

The 22-year-old has proven himself to be a real talent over the past 12 months, both during his loan stint at Crystal Palace and whilst on international duty with England.
The Chelsea man is a powerful specimen, but he also possesses wonderful technical ability, and that combination of power and grace makes him such a unique talent.

Loftus-Cheek would provide both cover and competition for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the heart of Liverpool’s midfield, and he would offer Klopp something entirely different to what he currently has at his disposal.
The England international surely needs to move away from Stamford Bridge this summer, and a switch to Merseyside could really help kick-start his career.
His talent is beyond question, and if Liverpool do manage to sign him this summer, Klopp could turn him into a real superstar at Anfield.
