Stuart Pearce suggests Liverpool target Kieran Gibbs.
Arsenal’s Kieran Gibbs celebrates
Liverpool should consider a late move for Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs, Stuart Pearce has recommended to SkySports.
Speaking to SkySports News HQ at 11am, Pearce recommended Liverpool target Gibbs to solve their left-back problem.

Current left-back Alberto Moreno has come under criticism from fans and pundits after his poor form last season and early on in this campaign, and Pearce believes Gibbs would be an ideal solution for Liverpool.
He said: “It’s amazing its not been identified. Kieran Gibbs could fit there. He is similar to Jack Wilshere in that he is not playing first team football.”

Wilshere was made available to loan by Arsenal due to a surplus of requirements in midfield, but it appears Gibbs is being retained by the Gunners as back-up to Nacho Monreal.
Gibbs has previously represented England, although like Wilshere he has struggled with injuries through the course of his career.
Arsenal lack alternatives to 30-year-old Monreal so it makes sense that they keep him, and at 26, Gibbs should be entering the peak years of his career.
He naturally will not want to spend these on the bench, but should have confidence in his ability to displace the Spaniard and win back his place.
