Liverpool should make an offer for Tottenham Hotspur star Mousa Dembele in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Tottenham value the Belgium international midfielder at £20 million, and Liverpool should not hesitate to put in a bid for the 30-year-old, who earns £80,000 per week as salary, according to The Daily Star.
The former Fulham star has had injury issues in recent times, but there is no doubt that he is a very good and capable midfielder who has proved himself in the Premier League for a number of years.
Liverpool are quite stocked up in the midfield department, but a player of Dembele’s proven quality and calibre is only going to enhance that particular area.
With the Reds aiming to compete for the Premier League title and for the Champions League not season, Dembele would add depth to the squad and enhance their chances of winning major trophies next season.
For £20m, Dembele would be a bargain buy for Liverpool, who could get at least two more great years out of the Belgian.
