The Napoli star would be an excellent addition for Liverpool.

Liverpool signed Fabinho from Monaco in the summer for around £40 million, but he has desperately failed to impress at Anfield this far.

The question is, should the Reds already give up on the Brazilian?

If they were to do just that, Jürgen Klopp would obviously have to bring in another central midfielder, and the perfect candidate for the job would be Napoli’s brilliant Polish ace Piotr Zieliński.

The 24-year-old was wanted by Liverpool back in 2016, according to the Sun, and the £57 million rated midfielder has everything that Klopp looks for in a player.

He possesses bundles of energy, and plays with a certain type of enthusiasm and dynamism that makes him ideally suited to the Reds’ high-octane style of play.

And the Poland international would be a real upgrade on Fabinho.

According to a report from French publication L’Equipe, Paris Saint-Germain are keen on signing the 25-year-old Liverpool midfielder, and Klopp should seriously cutting his losses on the Brazilian.

Zielinski would be the ideal central midfield partner for Naby Keita, and he would also be a huge upgrade on Jordan Henderson.

In today’s day and age, £57 million for a player with the Napoli man’s quality must be considered as fantastic value for money, and Klopp should not hesitate to bring him to Liverpool, whilst shipping out Fabinho at the same time.
