With Toni Kroos, Luka Modric (Kovacic’s national teammate), and Casemiro ahead of him in the pecking order, Kovacic has been reduced to only a bit-part role.
According to reports from Don Balon, Tottenham are interested in the 23-year-old, who could be open to a move away from the Santiago Bernabau this summer.
