Former Liverpool player Suso is available at £45m. With Tottenham interested, should the Reds bring back the Spaniard?

With Philippe Coutinho now sold, and the £145 million burning a hole in the pocket, the biggest question that now lies is how Liverpool will utlise the funds.
When Luis Suarez was sold to Barcelona, Liverpool had the opportunity to rebuild the squad, but the signings made under Brendan Rodgers were hit and miss. Jurgen Klopp must ensure they sign the right profile of players who fit the system.

With that in mind, Liverpool should turn to their former player Suso, and bring him back to Anfield from Italy. He joined the club when he was 17, and spent four and a half years at the club, failing to impress for the senior side, although many feel that selling him was a mistake from the Reds.
At AC Milan, Suso has developed into a complete player. Generally operating from the right wing, he has shown great tactical flexibility while playing at central midfield and in the forward role for the Italian giants.
He scores. He provides assists. His keen eye for a killer pass, and the smart footballing brain to go with it makes him an ideal replacement for Coutinho.

Surely, he must have progressed in leaps and bounds to have generated strong interest among other top European clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur. He has been frequently linked with a move to Spurs, who tried to sign him in the summer.
According to latest reports from Calciomercato, Spurs are lining up a January bid for the 24-year-old. He has a buy-out clause of £45 million which is well within Liverpool’s budget and thus the Reds should move quickly and snap him up at the earliest.
