The Arsenal-linked Celtic ace would be a superb addition for Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp manager

Liverpool have been incredibly quiet in the transfer market this summer.

Aside from Harvey Elliot, Jurgen Klopp hasn’t brought in any new signings, although there are plenty of exciting youngsters coming through the ranks at Anfield.

One particular concern for the Reds, however, will be the fact that following Alberto Moreno’s exit, Andy Robertson is the only senior left-back at the club, although Joe Gomez can fill in if need be.

And with this in mind, Liverpool should consider a move for Celtic ace Kieran Tierney.

According to the Sun, Arsenal want to sign the £25 million-rated Scotland international, but the Reds could surely tempt him into to moving to Anfield instead of the Emirates.

Pace and attacking intent

Tierney is an attacking full-back in every sense, and he would slot perfectly into Klopp’s high-octane setup at Liverpool.

Age

At just 22, the Scot still has at least a decade left ahead of him playing at the very highest level, making the reported fee of £25 million a potentially superb bargain for the Reds.

Competition for Robertson

The Liverpool left-back was quite simply brilliant last season, and he will need to be kept on his toes this term, if he is to improve further still.

And Tierney would provide stiff competition for his countryman.

The Celtic ace might just go on to become one of the best left-backs in Europe, and Klopp should not hesitate to bring him to Liverpool this summer.
