Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after watching Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang do something ‘disgusting’ at London Colney yesterday.
The Gabon international was filmed partaking in shooting drills with Alexandre Lacazette and Gabriel Martinelli ahead of Saturday’s clash with Liverpool.
After a heavy touch, Aubameyang nearly loses the ball to Mat Ryan, although he recovers in some style.
The 31-year-old takes a small touch away from the Australian, before pulling off a mesmeric drag-back and flick to sent the ball goalwards.
Before Ryan even knows what’s happened, the ball is trickling over the line, and Aubameyang runs off to celebrate as others yell in disbelief in the background.
It was an unbelievable finish.
If Arsenal’s No.14 did that in a Premier League game, it would win Goal of the Season without a doubt.
One supporter said it was ‘rude’ of Aubameyang to do that to Ryan.
Another fan felt that Liverpool ‘should be scared’ after watching the £56 million man’s incredible piece of skill.
After scoring for Gabon on international duty before embarrassing Ryan, perhaps Liverpool should be fearful of the forward – he seems to be in a confident mood.
