The PSV Eindhoven ace would be a superb addition for Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp manager

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will surely be keen to bolster his attacking ranks at Anfield this summer.

The Reds arguably have the best front three in the Premier League, but it will be a concern for Klopp that he has little in reserve, should one of his first-choice attackers suffer a long-term injury.

Liverpool came so close to winning the Premier League title last season, and if they are to go one step further this time around, they will need to add more competition for places in the final third.

And with this in mind, Klopp should consider a move for PSV Eindhoven ace Steven Bergwijn.

Ajax are apparently preparing a €50 million (£45 million) bid for the 21-year-old winger, according to TMW, but the Reds should swoop in and hijack the Eredivisie outfit’s move for the Holland international.

Bergwijn was on fire for PSV last season, racking up 15 goals and 13 assists in 41 appearances in all competitions, and he seems to be tailor made for Liverpool.

He possesses blistering pace, has exceptional technique, and plays with a certain kind of directness that Klopp would just love.

The Holland international can play anywhere along the front-line, so he would provide great competition for Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

And if Klopp manages to bring him to Anfield for just £45 million, it could turn out to be an absolute coup for Liverpool.
