Alexander-Arnold said: “I make a lot of mistakes. But mistakes are part of the game and as long as you learn from them then that’s a good thing.
“If you make mistakes it’s not that bad just as long as you learn from them, if you don’t learn from them then that’s the real mistake.”

A problem so many youngsters in today’s game have is their supreme confidence, which can become a detriment if they consider they have ‘made it’ too early.
Alexander-Arnold has a path in front of him to realise his dreams, but is clearly not getting carried away.
His humble comments suggest he is determined to put the hard work in, on the pitch and off it to study his game, in order to become the best player he can be.
It is this determined and committed approach which could be the difference between making it as a Liverpool superstar or falling by the wayside as so many have done before.
