Liverpool star Sadio Mane scored his 100th Premier League goal on Saturday afternoon – and has now received a message from Georginio Wijnaldum.

The Reds hammered Watford 5-0 at Vicarage Road, with Mane somehow losing the spotlight.

Roberto Firmino bagged a hat-trick whilst Mohamed Salah conjured up another magical goal.

Perhaps lost in the shuffle was that Mane took his Premier League goal tally to 100.

Mane calmly slotted Liverpool in front having latched on to a sumptuous Salah pass.

That’s 79 Premier League goals for Liverpool and 21 for Southampton, with Mane clinching a big achievement.

Mane’s accomplishments have been celebrated this weekend, and former Reds ace Wijnaldum has chimed in.

Some will remember that Mane and Wijnaldum actually joined Liverpool at a similar time, both arriving in the summer of 2016.

Wijnaldum left Liverpool this past summer though. With his contract ending, he chose a move to France with Paris Saint-Germain.

The Dutchman hasn’t forgotten about his former club though, sending a message to Mane on Sunday.

Wijnaldum took to Twitter to brand Mane’s achievement ‘incredible’, congratulating the Senegalese star on a ton of Premier League goals.
