Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane loves Marseille and has jokingly suggested that he will pick them over Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
The Reds have been left rocked by claims that Mane now wants to leave Liverpool this summer.
Missing out on the Premier League title was bad enough, but then Liverpool also lost the Champions League final to Real Madrid.
That was all heartbreaking enough but with Mane now looking to leave Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp’s men have been dealt blow after blow.
Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane loves Marseille
Mane is out of contract in 2023 so Liverpool have a decision to make.
Do they sell Mane now, let him leave for nothing next year or come up with a huge contract offer to convince him to stay?
Mane, 30, has been vital for Liverpool ever since joining from Southampton in 2016.
The Senegal ace racked up 16 goals in 34 Premier League games last season whilst also adding five Champions League goals.
Losing Mane would be a huge blow but he seems keen on trying something new.
Much of the talk has been about a move to Bayern Munich with his former home of Salzburg just over the border from Germany to Austria.

Yet when asked about Bayern on Sunday, Mane dodged them in favour of talking about Marseille.
As quoted by Sky Sports, Mane admitted that Marseille is ‘his club’ whilst suggesting he would pick them over Bayern, Barcelona or Real Madrid.
“You know you got me in trouble, you know you got me in trouble with Liverpool supporters currently,” said Mane. “You know I’m not a fan of these teams. My club is Marseille. I would say Marseille rather then,” he added.
When Mane was just one, Marseille won the Champions League and their influence has been far-reaching.
Many French speakers love Marseille and that goes for Mane, who would seemingly love to play for the Ligue 1 side.
That isn’t exactly a realistic deal right now given that Marseille can’t get close to the money Liverpool or even Mane himself would be demanding.
Bayern remain favourites for Mane and he will maybe have to park that Marseille move for another day.
