According to German media outlet Bild, Liverpool are preparing an audacious €60 million (£53 million) bid for Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic this summer, with Jürgen Klopp keen to strengthen his forward line.

Klopp is a big fan of the American, and the Reds boss tried to sign him in 2016, before having an £11 million bid for his services rejected by the Bundesliga outfit, according to Bild.

The 19-year-old joined Dortmund in the summer of 2015, and he has really risen to prominence over the past couple of years, chalking up 12 goals and 20 assists in 95 appearances thus far.

Bild claim that Klopp is desperate to bring Pulisic to Anfield this summer, and is prepared to pay £53 million to obtain his signature.

The Reds have one of the best attacking line-ups in world football, but aside from their famous front three, Klopp’s options are extremely limited.

The addition of Pulisic would provide Liverpool with another option in attack, and for the reported fee of £53 million, he would surely turn out to be a fantastic acquisition for the Merseyside outfit.
