According to Goal.com, Liverpool are willing to offload Ben Woodburn in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Woodburn – described as “an outstanding talent” by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp on Sky Sports in January 2019 – is among a number of players the Premier League club are ready to let go this summer.
Woodburn is one of them, according to the report, which has added that Ipswich Town and Portsmouth are interested in him.
Clubs in the Netherlands and Germany are also claimed to want the Wales international midfielder.
Give Ben Woodburn another chance
Woodburn has played quite a few games for Wales, and he has had loan spells at Sheffield United and Oxford United as well.
While it is hard to see the 20-year-old establish himself in the Liverpool starting lineup this season, he has the potential and the talent to make it big at Anfield in the future.
It would be best if Liverpool send Woodburn out on loan to a club in the Premier League or the Championship for this season instead of selling him.
The Reds will be aiming to win the Premier League title this season for the second time in a row.
