According to L’Equipe, Liverpool want to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain next summer, but they will face competition from Real Madrid.

It has been reported that Spanish and European giants Madrid are planning to make a move for the France international forward in the summer of 2021.

Liverpool have been in regular contact with the 21-year-old forward’s entourage, with manager Jurgen Klopp an admirer of the player, according to the report in the French publication.

Blockbuster transfer plan

Mbappe is one of the best players on the planet and is world class, and the 21-year-old would take Liverpool to another level.

If the Reds are able to pull off this transfer deal next summer, then it would be a massive coup.

However, with Madrid also reportedly keen on the former AS Monaco star, the Premier League champions will not have everything their way.

Madrid are arguably the biggest club in the world, and they also have Mbappe’s compatriot and France legend Zinedine Zidane as their head coach.

It could be quite a battle between Liverpool and Madrid for the Frenchman next summer, but one should not forget that PSG are a wealthy club and will not want to sell the forward.
