Liverpool are considering bringing back former coach Pepijn Lijnders to Anfield, according to The Telegraph.

It has been reported that Lijnders has parted company with NEC Nijmegen, and that Liverpool are considering bringing back the the 35-year-old coach who left Anfield in January.

It has also been claimed that Jurgen Klopp’s assistant manager assistant Zeljko Buvac is unlikely to return to Anfield, and that the Liverpool boss is in need of more staff.

Important personnel

Lijnders is a highly rated coach who has worked with Klopp at Liverpool, and the return of the 35-year-old to Anfield would be welcomed.

Klopp is a very good manager, but the German does need coaches around him to help him with his task.
