Liverpool were absolutely blown away at Anfield after going 2-0 up in the early stages.
Real Madrid ran riot but the Spanish press still liked what they saw from Reds midfielder Bajcetic.
Mundo Deportivo described Bajcetic’s display as ‘cheeky’ and praised him for his ‘impudence’ against Real.
They noted that Bajcetic played with ‘great personality’ for his age and turned in a good first-half performance.
Mundo Deportivo felt Bajcetic fell off a little in the second half as Liverpool ultimately fell apart after the break.
Bajcetic may feel he could have done better for Real’s fifth goal though as Luka Modric breezed past him in midfield.
This wasn’t an easy night for Bajcetic but receiving this kind of praise will be nice, especially from the media in his homeland.

In a season of relative misery for Liverpool, Bajcetic has been a rare bright spot.
The 18-year-old has emerged into the first-team picture this season and has been starting regularly for Jurgen Klopp’s side of late.
Bajcetic has brought some much-needed energy and confidence to a Liverpool midfield that needs to be rebuilt.
It looks like Bajcetic will have an important role for Liverpool moving forward.
The Telegraph reported last week that Bajcetic will be at the heart of Jurgen Klopp’s plans for the future – even if a top signing like Jude Bellingham arrives.
Spanish newspaper AS even report that Bajcetic is in line for a potential Spain call-up in the near future under new boss Luis de la Fuente.
Liverpool appear to have an absolute gem in Bajcetic and whilst he will have better nights moving forward, some promising signs against Real bode well for the future.
