Liverpool are interested in signing Randal Kolo Muani and are now expected to launch a summer move for the Eintracht Frankfurt attacker.
That’s according to German outlet Sport Bild, who claim that interest in Kolo Muani is ramping up well in advance of the summer window.
It’s stated that Liverpool and Manchester United are both expected to make cash bids for Kolo Muani at the end of the season.
That promises to be a fierce battle given the long-standing rivalry between the two clubs and neither will want to miss out.
There are other suitors though as Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are allegedly ‘discussing’ how they can enter the race.
Kolo Muani’s former agents had outlined a plan to stay for another year but the attacker has now changed agents.
That means Frankfurt are bracing themselves for bids and offers of around €100million (£89million) would tempt them into selling.

Do Liverpool really need Randal Kolo Muani?
Kolo Muani has proven himself to be quite the talent.
Frankfurt signed him from Nantes on a free transfer last summer and that could be one of the greatest bargains in Bundesliga history at this rate given comparisons to Thierry Henry.
The 24-year-old has smashed 14 goals and 14 assists in just 29 games this season, averaging a goal contribution almost every game for the German side.
Having shown major promise with France at the World Cup, Kolo Muani appears to be on a path to stardom.
Interest was inevitable but a move to Liverpool – especially at £89million – just doesn’t seem to add up.
The Reds just signed a new attacker in Cody Gakpo having also snapped up Darwin Nunez during the summer window.
Add those two to Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino, Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah across the Liverpool front line and Jurgen Klopp could seriously field two different front threes to terrify defences.
Committing major money to another forward when Liverpool need midfield help so badly just doesn’t make sense.
Liverpool may well like Kolo Muani but their deal for Gakpo means they may need to accept seeing the Frenchman go elsewhere – such as rivals Manchester United.
