Liverpool are favourites to sign Alexandre Lacazette despite emerging interest from Manchester United.

Alexandre Lacazette’s future was thrown into doubt yesterday as Atletico Madrid were notified their transfer ban would be upheld.
SkySports had reported that Atletico had lined up a deal to sign Lacazette but this move is now off the table.
The Lyon striker has been prolific this season, netting 37 goals in all competitions. 28 of these came in 30 Ligue 1 matches.

Premier League side Liverpool have now been made the favourites for Lacazette’s signature, SkyBet report.
Lacazette is 5/2 to move to Liverpool, followed by Arsenal at 3/1, but the Gunners’ chances are hampered by a lack of Champions League football after finishing in fifth place.
Liverpool could yet face a threat from Manchester United, who are prioritising signing a new centre-forward.

The Mirror report Lacazette features prominently on their list of targets and United are considering a £50 million approach.
Lacazette, 26, is one of the most wanted strikers in Europe and one of the few top class players available.
Both United and Liverpool have a lack of options up front and whoever wins the race to sign him will be getting a significant boost for the season ahead.
