Liverpool are back in Premier League action tonight as they travel to North London to take on Tottenham Hotspur.

The Reds have been in patchy form of late, and lost 1-0 at home to Burnley on Sunday night, meaning they have taken just three points from their last five Premier League outings.

Jurgen Klopp needs to try and find an answer against Jose Mourinho tonight, and with that in mind, here is our predicted Liverpool lineup for this evening’s game…

Unless there is a late injury or pandemic-related issue, Alisson will be starting between the sticks for Liverpool.

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s form is a major concern, but he and Andrew Robertson should be the full backs as usual for Liverpool.

Joel Matip was left out of Sunday’s draw with Burnley but should be back tonight with his minutes carefully managed, partnering Fabinho at centre back.

Jordan Henderson is back, and it will be difficult for Klopp to resist putting him straight back into the side given his importance to the Reds.

Thiago and Georginio Wijnaldum figure to join Henderson in midfield if he is passed fit, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Curtis Jones no doubt eyeing a role if Henderson misses out.

They may be out of form, but Klopp will surely go with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino as his three-man attack, with Salah at least looking to build on two FA Cup goals against Manchester United.

Caoimhin Kelleher, Neco Williams, Nat Phillips, Rhys Williams, Kostas Tsimikas, Jones, Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner, Xherdan Shaqiri, Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi will all be battling for spots on the bench, with two of them to miss out.

Predicted Liverpool XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Fabinho, Robertson; Henderson, Wijnaldum, Thiago; Salah, Mane, Firmino.
