Liverpool could be Premier League crowned champions in just nine days’ time.
Liverpool’s long-awaited triumph is finally edging closer, with the league set to restart in under a week’s time.
If Arsenal beat Manchester City, then Liverpool will be able to win the title on Sunday when they take on Everton at Goodison Park.
Jurgen Klopp does actually have a few selection dilemmas ahead of that contest though, with both Mo Salah and Andy Robertson failing to feature in Liverpool’s warm-up games so far.
Liverpool, rather ominously, beat Blackburn Rovers 6-0 in a friendly match yesterday, as they stepped up their preparations for the restart.
The performances of Takumi Minamino and Naby Keita were particularly eye catching, and the duo may just have done enough to push into the starting line-up.

Klopp will surely not want to risk the fitness of Robertson or Salah, who could be suffering with a lack of match sharpness.
And it could be a great opportunity for Minamino and Keita to get game time.
Minamino joined Liverpool in January but has struggled so far, while Keita has suffered terribly with injury since his move to Anfield for £48 million in 2018 (BBC Sport).
Elsewhere, James Milner looks the likely starter at left-back if Robertson does miss out.
Liverpool predicted XI: Alisson; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, James Milner; Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita; Takumi Minamino, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane.
