Jurgen Klopp’s major selection dilemma ahead of Liverpool’s game with Arsenal may be in midfield.
With Jordan Henderson out injured, there are spaces up for grabs in Liverpool’s line-up.
The Reds could only manage a draw with Burnley at the weekend, and it’s fair to say that neither Curtis Jones or Georginio Wijnaldum totally nailed down their spot.
While Jones did impress, the youngster is likely to be rotated in and out of Klopp’s side, while he is still developing.
It could be that Liverpool want to add more experience against Arsenal, and Naby Keita will surely come in.
Keita has looked impressive since the restart, and the 25-year-old appears to have a strong chance of starting in midweek.
James Milner may also be brought back into Liverpool’s side at the expense of £25 million man Georginio Wijnaldum (BBC Sport), as he is arguably the player is the Reds’ squad who offers the most similar qualities to the absent Henderson.
It should also be expected that Trent Alexander-Arnold will replace Neco Williams in Liverpool’s starting line-up, with Klopp making some changes in an attempt to get his league champions back to winning ways.
