What to expect from Liverpool this week, after the Reds go from the sublime to the ridiculous?

After beating fierce rivals Everton in the third round, Liverpool come up against Premier League opposition again in the FA Cup on Saturday when they travel to West Bromwich Albion.
Jurgen Klopp named his strongest team for the Merseyside derby but may choose to rotate his squad against the Baggies after a sluggish display in losing to rock-bottom Swansea City on Monday.
In what was a major reality check following the stunning victory over Manchester City the week before, the likes of Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino appeared weary after a busy festive schedule.

The attacking pair could be rested at Anfield, with youngster Dominic Solanke getting a chance to lead the lie and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain moving forward from midfield to the right wing.
Klopp will be keen to get fit-again Adam Lallana some crucial minutes in the midfield three, while there could also be a start for James Milner in place of Georginio Wijnaldum. Club captain Jordan Henderson returned to training this week and might be named on the bench ahead of a possible second-half run out.

Virgil van Dijk is likely to start as he aims to settle in at Liverpool, and there is plenty of choice for his centre-back partner although Ragnar Klavan is due an opportunity ahead of Joel Matip or Dejan Lovren.
Trent Alexander-Arnold may also come into the defence, and in between the posts there is a role reversal with Simon Mignolet now the cup goalkeeper after losing his Premier League spot to Loris Karius.
