Liverpool are back in action tonight as they host Norwich City in the fifth round of the FA Cup, with Jurgen Klopp surely set to make changes.

The Reds enjoyed up success on Sunday evening, beating Chelsea on penalties to win the Carabao Cup final.

That game went the distance as Liverpool played out 120 gruelling minutes before a lengthy penalty shootout, so Liverpool’s players have been through a lot.

Klopp will have to make changes for tonight’s game in order to rest some tired legs and give chances to fresh players.

With that in mind, here is our predicted Liverpool lineup for tonight’s game against Norwich at Anfield…

It may be natural to assume that Caoimhin Kelleher will play a cup game, but Jurgen Klopp has already indicated that the Irishman won’t start after such a long evening against Chelsea.

That means Alisson looks likely to come back in to start tonight, even if there may be a small temptation to start with Adrian.

Joel Matip almost certainly won’t be starting tonight and it’s hard to see Virgil van Dijk featuring either, so starts for both IBrahima Konate and Joe Gomez makes sense.

Kostas Tsimikas will surely start at left back in place of Andrew Robertson. At right back, Trent Alexander-Arnold is unlikely to play and we’ll give the nod to youngster Conor Bradley.

That means James Milner will be able to play in midfield, offering the experienced head in front of the back four.

Curtis Jones needs to get back on track this season, and having been left out of the Carabao Cup final squad, it’s time for a start tonight.

Harvey Elliott is likely to start, either playing out wide or in midfield with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain starting in the other role.

That leaves two spots to fill.

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed there is ‘no injury’ to winger Luis Diaz, with his substitution against Chelsea purely down to fatigue.

Diaz may be available tonight, but Klopp surely needs to go with Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi in the Liverpool attack.

With huge games against West Ham United and Inter Milan to come, Liverpool can’t really afford to take risks with tired players.

That’s why our predicted lineup features 11 changes from Sunday’s Carabao Cup final win as Klopp looks to move closer to a stunning quadruple.

Predicted Liverpool starting XI: Alisson; Bradley, Gomez, Konate, Tsimikas; Milner, Jones, Elliot; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Minamino, Origi.
