Liverpool face Crystal Palace in the Premier League tonight and will be looking to claim their first win of the new league season.
The Reds travelled to London last weekend to take on newly-promoted Fulham but could only manage a 2-2 draw.
Jurgen Klopp will be looking for better this time as a team from the capital head north this time.
Palace started their season with a 2-0 home defeat to Arsenal and will be hoping to cause problems at Anfield this evening.
Klopp faces some selection decisions tonight with a number of Liverpool players currently unavailable through injury.
Liverpool predicted lineup
Barring any late issues, Alisson should once again start in goal for Liverpool despite a suspect display at Fulham last weekend.
It sounds like Joel Matip is struggling after an issue picked up in training on Friday, whilst Ibrahima Konate is out through injury too.
That means Joe Gomez is in line to come into the Liverpool side, partnering Virgil van Dijk in the heart of Klopp’s defence.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson will surely line up as the full backs in Klopp’s usual 4-3-3.
Fabinho and Jordan Henderson are regulars in the Liverpool midfield and we’re expecting no different tonight.
Yet with Thiago Alcantara out injured, Liverpool need to go with somebody else in their engine room.
We’re backing Harvey Elliott to land that role, but Fabio Carvalho will be pushing for a start too.
Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz will be on the flanks, but the big decision comes up top.
Klopp won’t want to push Darwn Nunez into big minutes too early but Liverpool looked tame offensively with Roberto Firmino in attack last week.
That means Nunez may well be required to start tonight, leading the Liverpool attack.
That would leave the likes of Adrian, James Milner, Carvalho, Firmino, Stefan Bajcetic, Sepp van den Berg and Naby Keita among the substitutes.
Liverpool predicted lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Elliott; Salah, Nunez, Diaz.
