As Liverpool prepare to face Chelsea at Anfield, we have tried our best to call the hosts’ line-up.
After the Reds’ 1-0 win over Wolves in the FA Cup, Jurgen Klopp had hinted that he could stick with some players that impressed on the night against Graham Potter’s side (via Football.London).
Keeping that in mind, the 4-time Champions League finalist’s go-to XI against the West London club is a challenge to predict.
However, we expect the German coach to make as many as 7 changes for the upcoming clash against the Blues.
Liverpool predicted lineup vs Chelsea
In goal, Alisson Becker is expected to take over from Caoimhin Kelleher on the weekend.
At right-back, James Milner is also set to be displaced by Trent Alexander-Arnold in our Liverpool predicted lineup against Chelsea.
While Ibrahima Konate is expected to keep his place in the side, the same cannot be said for Joe Gomez, who will likely drop to the bench for Joel Matip at centre-back.
At left-back, Kostas Tsimikas also seems dead set to lose his place to Andy Robertson against Graham Potter and Co.
In the No.6 position is where a surprise could well be in store as we can see Jurgen Klopp entrusting Stefan Bajcetic, who was hailed as ‘outstanding’ by Jamie Carragher against Wolves to start ahead of Fabinho in our Liverpool predicted lineup against Chelsea.

Thiago Alcantara is expected to retain his place in the XI, with Naby Keita being replaced by captain Jordan Henderson.
On the right wing, we expect Harvey Elliott, labelled as ‘outstanding’ by Alan Shearer after his masterclass in the FA Cup to play in his natural position against the Blues.
Mohamed Salah could be tested as a striker, as per our Liverpool predicted lineup against Chelsea, much like was the case in their 2-1 win against Tottenham earlier this year.
Naturally, that would lead to new signing, Cody Gakpo being benched.
Similarly, Fabio Carvalho could also be set to watch proceedings from the sidelines, with Darwin Nunez experimented with as a left-winger.
Liverpool predicted lineup vs Chelsea: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Konate, Robertson, Bajcetic, Henderson, Thiago, Elliott, Salah, Nunez.
