Robertson and Tierney play together for the Scotland national football team, and the Liverpool ace has been impressed with the Arsenal left-back.
The 26-year-old left-back has praised the 23-year-old left-back for the way he bounced back from injury in his debut season in the Premier League in 2019-20.
Robertson told The Times about Tierney: “He’s an unbelievable professional and you can tell that when you sit down with him, you can see it the way he plays.
“The last wee while has been hard for him injury-wise, but he’s a fantastic player with a lot of talent and he’s come back stronger.
“His style and his determination is there for all to see and hopefully his injury problems are in the past now.”

Arsenal spell
Tierney joined Arsenal from Scottish Premiership giants Celtic in the summer of 2019.
The left-back was carrying an injury when he arrived at the Emirates Stadium, and his start to life at the North London outfit was not great.
The 23-year-old had fitness issues in the opening months of the 2019-20 campaign, but he was brilliant after football restarted following lockdown.
The youngster also played well in the Europa League, and the Emirates Stadium faithful will see the best of Tierney next season.
According to WhoScored, Tierney made 12 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal last season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.
The 23-year-old left-back also provided two assists in four Europa League games for the Gunners in 2019-20, according to WhoScored.
