Liverpool struggled to produce any real danger to Hull City as they lost 1-0 last night.
Liverpool fell to a disappointing defeat at the hands of Hull City last night, with the Tigers winning 1-0 to improve their chances of staying in the Premier League.
Brendan Rodgers will not be at all pleased with the way his team played, as the Reds saw their chances of a Champions League spot canter off into the distance.
Here are our player ratings for Liverpool last night.
Mignolet – 7
The form of the Belgian has been good in recent weeks and he looked like one of the only players in control of his position.
Can – 6
Cracks appeared when Hull players had the chance to run at him and attack him with some real pace.
Skrtel – 6
Battled hard as he always does and appeared difficult to get the better of in the air.
Lovren – 6
His timing looked a little off at times, but in possession he seemed in control.
Johnson – 5
Poor and looked far too lethargic during the game. Hinted at getting forward but showed no real presence.
Allen – 6
Did a lot of running off the ball and got into some good positions defensively.
Henderson – 6
Not his normal self but tried to get the team by the scruff of the neck and drive them forward.
Coutinho – 6
Didn’t have too much going on around him and wasn’t given the chance to create something.
Ibe – 6
Did well down one side, but lacking an end product. Looked like one of the only Liverpool players capable of making something happen.
Sterling – 5
Plenty of pace but didn’t really do anything with it and struggled to make the most of the space he found.
Balotelli – 5
Looked as though he didn’t really have any association with the team. His ability to be fouled was the biggest plus point.
