Suso has returned to the training field as the Liverpool winger steps up his recovery after surgery.
Liverpool winger Suso has posted a fitness update on his official Twitter and Instagram accounts.
The 21-year-old Spaniard had groin surgery at the start of October and was expected to be out for two months.
And now – seemingly sticking to that time-frame – the Liverpool player has taken to the training field for the first time.
“Yesterday was the first day I was running on the grass after surgery,” he wrote. “Now everyday progressing…”
Suso may be playing out time at Liverpool before an oft-suggested move to AC Milan, but he could still have a vital role to play this season given the Reds’ struggles.
The player has 21 Liverpool games under his belt to date and he is a dynamic and potentially very effective option for Brendan Rodgers to have.
And with the player’s agent recently suggesting Liverpool were prepared to offer him a new contract to remain at the club, the next few months could be vital in deciding the player’s long-term future.
