Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing Archie Gray from Daniel Farke’s Leeds United.

According to The Daily Mail, Liverpool are interested in signing Archie Gray from Leeds United in the summer of 2024.

The report has also claimed interest from Crystal Palace and Everton in Gray, who is a midfielder by trade but has been playing at right-back in recent games for Leeds.

Leeds would be reluctant to sell Gray, but they do value the teenager at between £40 million and £50 million.

Liverpool are reportedly preparing a bid for Gray in the summer of 2024.

Liverpool could be able to sign Archie Gray

In my opinion, Liverpool could be able to sign Archie Gray from Leeds United in the summer of 2023.

Yes, Leeds are a big club, but they are playing in the Championship this season.

Although Daniel Farke’s side are doing well, there is no guarantee that they will be able to win promotion to the Premier League.

I believe that if Leeds do not win promotion, then Liverpool would be able to sign Gray, especially as he is currently out of contract in the summer of 2025.

I do not think that Gray is worth £40 million or £50 million.

After all, he is only 17 now and is just starting his career.

However, I must not that Gray is rated very highly.

Former Leeds star Jermaine Beckford described Gray as “incredible” and “phenomenal” in Leeds Live in August 2023.

Gray has been brilliant for Leeds this season.

The 17-year-old has made 12 starts and two substitute appearances in the Championship this season.

The England Under-19 international has played twice in the Carabao Cup for Leeds.

While Liverpool are aiming to win the Premier League title this season, Leeds are looking to win promotion from the Championship.
