Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers signed Ryan Kent on loan from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
Ryan Kent of Rangers
Kent moved to Rangers on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old has established himself as an important player for Rangers and is playing well for Gerrard’s team at the moment.
The former England Under-20 international winger has scored three goals and provided two assists in 12 Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.com.
Kent has suggested that he is open to joining Rangers on a permanent contract, but the Liverpool-owned winger has admitted that his future is out of his hands.
“It’s something I’m considering,” Kent told The Daily Mail regarding a permanent move to Rangers. “It’s a chat Rangers are going to have to have with Liverpool because I still have three years left on my contract there. So it’s a bit out of my hands.
“The honest answer is I don’t know what my future holds. That’s something Jurgen Klopp will have to answer.”

Rangers stay
With Liverpool going strong at the moment and having abundance of talent in attack, it is hard to see Kent break into manager Jurgen Klopp’s starting lineup next season.
Given how the youngster has established himself as a key figure at Rangers, it will make sense for him to make his loan deal at the Gers permanent.
