Loris Karius has been on loan in Turkey from Liverpool since last summer.

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius is no stranger to making headlines for the wrong reasons.
Last May, the German made two mistakes in a Champions League final as Real Madrid beat the Reds 3-1.
Liverpool loaned him to Besiktas last summer but has struggled as of late, and his manager Senol Gunes criticised him last week, claiming that the 25-year-old had gone ‘a bit stagnant’.
Karius responded to his critics by keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 win over Goztepe this past weekend, but his post-match reaction on social media has caused quite a stir.
He posted a photo of himself alongside four emojis, one of which was the ‘shushing face’.
Karius, signed by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is 2016, has been booed by Besiktas fans in recent months and many of the Turkish club’s fans interpreted the tweet as a swipe at them.
Here’s how supporters of the Anfield club responded:
He remains a popular figure some Liverpool fans it seems, though virtually no affiliate of the English side will want him back in goal for Klopp’s side.
The Reds look a much better, stronger side with Alisson back there and it seems like Karius’s career on Merseyside is over for the most part.
