Lee Dixon has said on Friday Football Social on BBC Radio 5 Live (7pm start, October 22, 2021) that Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino is a sensational footballer.
The former Arsenal star has said that Firmino is a player that Liverpool teammates love playing with.
The BBC pundit made the comments while looking ahead to the Premier League game between Manchester United and Liverpool on Sunday.
Dixon said about Firmino: “He is an absolutely sensational footballer, and I think Klopp has said that before and has stuck up for him.”
Back in form
Firmino is a brilliant footballer and is deservedly getting a lot of praise at the moment.
However, we cannot deny it that the Brazil international forward was not at his best last season.
The 30-year-old scored nine goals and gave seven assists in 33 Premier League starts last season.

Firmino has made only two starts in the Premier League so far this season, but he has already scored four goals and given one assist.
That includes a hat-trick against Watford last weekend.
The Brazilian has also scored two goals in the Champions League so far this season.
Mohamed Salah is arguably the best player at Liverpool, but we have to give credit to and shower praise on players such as Firmino.
