Liverpool defender Nat Phillips is wanted by both Newcastle United and West Ham United, with a mystery £7million bid now rejected by the Reds.
According to Sky Sports, Liverpool are willing to let Phillips leave this month having indicated that he wants first-team football.
Liverpool are believed to have rejected a £7million bid from a mystery Premier League side.
That’s nowhere near what Liverpool want, as the Reds are demanding £15million for their centre back.
That’s quite the mark-up from the £2.5million deal Liverpool agreed with Swansea City in 2020.
Phillips stepped up to help Liverpool last season given their defensive injury crisis, proving that he can be a Premier League defender.

Newcastle certainly have cash to play with and may be Liverpool’s best chance at getting £15million.
West Ham are seeking reinforcements after injuries to Kurt Zouma and Angelo Ogbonna, but splashing £15million on Phillips seems unlikely.
If we had to guess, we would bet on a deal around £12million eventually being struck with a suitor, most likely Newcastle.
