Liverpool and Newcastle want Will Osula with the Sheffield United talent now attracting major interest off the back of his potential.

Top young talents are always on the radar of Liverpool and Newcastle are now hoping to follow suit.

Just look at the move for Fabio Carvalho this summer, or further down the Liverpool system, teenage additions like Bobby Clark and Kaide Gordon in recent times.

Newcastle haven’t been quite as prolific in that market in recent times, but they will be looking to kick on thanks to PIF’s investment.

We have already seen deals for the likes of Jordan Hackett and Alex Murphy this summer, with more potentially on the way.

Liverpool and Newcastle want Will Osula

The latest name being linked with both Liverpool and Newcastle is Sheffield United striker Will Osula.

The Sheffield Star report that Liverpool and Newcastle have both been watching Osula closely ahead of potentially launching moves for him.

Osula, 18, is allegedly considered to be a future first-team regular at Sheffield United.

Yet with Premier League eyes already on him, he may not be at Bramall Lane long enough to make that a reality.

The teenager has though played in the Championship, playing 68 minutes across five appearances for the Blades first team.

Osula hails from Denmark but can also play for England moving forward if he so desires.

Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom is a big fan of Osula and has already suggested that he has seen ‘game-changing’ ability from him at times.

It doesn’t seem that Liverpool or Newcastle are planning to make moves for Osula right now, but are more keeping tabs on him for a future move.

If Osula continues to show potential in Championship minutes, it won’t be long before Liverpool and Newcastle firm up their interest – and probably face some competition from other suitors along the way.
