Celtic are reported to want Joe Gomez.

Celtic are keen on signing Joe Gomez from Liverpool, according to The Scottish Sun.
Gomez signed for Liverpool from Charlton Athletic last summer, and instead of playing with the under-21s, he became a regular in their starting line-up.
He quickly won the faith of manager Brendan Rodgers, and it is easy to see why the new Celtic boss would want to sign him.

Gomez filled in at centre-back and left-back for Liverpool, impressing in pre-season and keeping Alberto Moreno out of the side.
His season was ended after just a couple of months, after he sustained an ACL injury, never getting the chance to play under new boss Jurgen Klopp.

While Celtic may be hopeful they can sign him on the basis that he could need time and regular football to recover from his injury, Liverpool should snub their advances – and Gomez would be wise to do so also.
He has not played yet under Klopp, and needs to spend the season learning under him, and trying to make an impact on the first team.

With Alberto Moreno disappointing, particularly in the Europa League final, the left-back spot is up for grabs, and Gomez has a strong chance of claiming it.
Should his season not progress as he would like, then there may be a chance to go out on loan in 12 months time, and Rodgers would surely gladly have him, but he owes himself a shot at Anfield this coming campaign.
With a season out on loan he would risk becoming a forgotten figure, and must make sure he makes an impression on his new boss.
