Liverpool raided Arsenal for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in 2017.

Liverpool already have one midfielder arriving this summer as Naby Keita’s move from RB Leipzig will finally go through, but fans are keen to see another midfielder arrive too.
Despite having Adam Lallana and Georginio Wijnaldum, fans are now looking at who could replace contract rebel Emre Can, who is expected to leave Anfield on a free transfer this summer.
Napoli’s Piotr Zielinski and Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic are just two of the names mentioned by supporters recently, but bookmakers have been suggesting a possible move for Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey, with Ladbrokes making Liverpool favourites to sign him this summer.

Ramsey, 27, may have only played 18 Premier League games this season, but his record of six goals and six assists is hugely impressive, with Arsenal certainly missing the Welshman when he has been out of action.
Now, the Daily Mail claim that Ramsey wants a considerable pay rise to stay with Arsenal, and with just over a year left on his contact, the Gunners risk losing their midfield maestro this summer – just as they did with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain last summer.
Oxlade-Chamberlain wouldn’t sign a new deal inside the final year of his contract with Arsenal, and they were forced to sell him to Liverpool back in August 2017, cashing in before the England ace left for nothing.

Liverpool can now pull off a similar deal with Ramsey this summer, giving Klopp a creative midfielder alongside the relentless Keita and mainstay Jordan Henderson, whilst also weakening a direct rival.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is now starting to fulfil his potential with Liverpool, and Ramsey could be tempted into a move to Anfield having seen his former teammate thrive away from the Emirates Stadium – and the Reds should be primed and ready to make Arsenal an offer for Ramsey this summer.
