Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have been interested in Mohammed Kudus but Erik ten Hag appears to be convinced that he can make an impact at Manchester United.
These latest claims about Kudus have emerged from the Manchester Evening News, who believe United are chasing big signings this summer.
The usual names are in there – Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen, Jude Bellingham and Frenkie de Jong.
Then there is Kudus, who Ten Hag allegedly believes has the ability to become a Premier League star.
Ten Hag saw Kudus first-hand in the Netherlands having coached him at Ajax.
United could now push to reunite Ten Hag with Kudus this summer but there will be plenty of competition from other clubs – such as Liverpool.

Liverpool face Manchester United battle for Mohammed Kudus
Sports World Ghana were first to report Liverpool’s interest in Kudus, claiming that they were scouting him in action for Ghana at the World Cup.
Kudus was superb in Qatar, scoring twice to help Ghana beat South Korea.
The 22-year-old has been turning heads all season really, showing outstanding form despite Ajax’s difficult season.
Kudus has racked up six goals and one assist in his last nine games for Ajax.
16 goals in 32 games across all competition this term is very impressive and Kudus has shown his versatility as an attacking midfielder, striker and right-sided winger.
Liverpool need to freshen up their side and adding a dangerous, exciting and versatile talent like Kudus could be ideal.
The Reds even saw Kudus score an outstanding goal at Anfield earlier this season as he scored Ajax against Liverpool.
The problem here could be Ten Hag.
The United boss has already signed a couple of his former players in Lisandro Martinez and Antony, seemingly having real pulling power on his former Ajax squad.
Kudus could feel a similar way and Liverpool would surely loathe to see him join their bitter rivals United this summer.
