According to CalcioMercato, Liverpool are now chasing Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk.
The winger is being courted by the likes of Arsenal and Brentford, but now Liverpool are keen to muscle in on this race for the young attacker.
This news may sting Arsenal fans, but neutrals and supporters of Liverpool may welcome the addition of Mudryk to this Jurgen Klopp team.
Regardless of which team you support, we all love watching beautiful football, and if Mudryk arrives at Anfield, we may see the unification of the single most exciting duo in English football.
Indeed, the idea of Mudryk playing in the same team as Luis Diaz is utterly mouthwatering.
Liverpool fans already know what Diaz is all about. Skill, panache, intensity, showboating and effectiveness all combined into one devastatingly talented player, and Mudryk is cut from the same cloth.

After all, Mo Salah is one of Liverpool’s greatest players of all-time, so he won’t be taken out of the team anytime soon, but on the occasions we were able to see Diaz and Mudryk in the same team, we’d be watching genuinely one of the most exciting duos the Premier League has ever seen.
Liverpool fans have every right to be excited about this rumour, but even neutrals may be keen to see what Mudryk in a Liverpool shirt looks like, because this is an incredible player with a massive amount of skill and flair.
