Keeping Daniel Sturridge is looking like being a major difference maker for Liverpool.

Liverpool needed a special goal from Daniel Sturridge to rescue a point against Chelsea at the weekend.
Sturridge’s ability has never been in question, but his injury record and mental determination to play through it have been challenged at times.
Sturridge’s career hit it’s lowest point in February when his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion ended after he failed to make it through his debut, going off injured.
He wasn’t even a contender for the World Cup squad, and Liverpool were flying without him.
Yet Jurgen Klopp saw something in Sturridge this summer, for which the player deserves credit.

Sturridge returned with a new determination and Klopp should be praised for not disregarding him.
In form like this, Sturridge is capable of shaking off competition from Dominic Solanke and Divock Origi to be a regular in Liverpool’s matchday squad, and even pile pressure on for a starting spot.
It would have been so easy for Liverpool to have cut him loose in the summer and moved on.
Instead by keeping him, they may have made a decision which will end up winning them the title.
