The Toffees were defeated 4-0 by Manchester United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League.
It was the Merseyside outfit’s fourth successive defeats in all competitions, following losses to Chelsea (Premier League), Tottenham Hotspur (Premier League) and Atalanta (Europa League).
The performance of the Toffees against United was quite disappointing, especially the way they collapsed in the final 10 minutes.
The 4-0 scoreline probably flattered United, but it is hard to argue that the Red Devils did not deserve all three points.

Liverpool Mayor Joe Anderson, who is an Everton fan, has also taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the performance of the Toffees and to manager Ronald Koeman’s post-match comments.
Everton are third from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with just four points from five matches.
