Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal have been linked with Bernd Leno of Bayer Leverkusen in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Arsenal are lining up a £25 million move for the 26-year-old goalkeeper.
The Gunners have reportedly identified the Germany international as successor to Petr Cech at the Emirates Stadium.
According to The Sun, Liverpool are also interested in the Bayer star, who is one of the best goalkeepers in Europe.

Advantage Liverpool?
Liverpool may have an advantage over Arsenal in the race to sign Leno from Bayer in the summer transfer window – Champions League football.
The Reds look set to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season and feature in the Champions League in 2017-18.

On the other hand, the only realistic way for Arsenal to play in Europe’s premier club competition next season is to win the Europa League this campaign – and it is not going to be easy.
The Merseyside outfit are also in a better position than Arsenal in terms of challenging for major trophies for the coming years.
Given that Leno is 26 years of age, the German could be tempted to play for a club who are going places and challenging for titles and trophies.
