Jurgen Klopp will hope to steer the Reds to victory over Spurs in the Champions League final.

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has spoken highly of the vivid support for the Reds around the city ahead of Saturday’s Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur in Madrid.
Jurgen Klopp’s charges will contest their second successive final in the tournament, having shocked Barcelona in the semi-final and also beating the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Napoli and Bayern Munich along the way.
They will face fellow Premier League side Spurs, who themselves fought against the odds to get to the showpiece match in Madrid by overcoming Ajax in the semi-finals despite being 3-0 down on aggregate at half time in the second leg.
Last year, Liverpool had their hearts broken by Real Madrid in Kiev and Mane – who scored the Reds’ goal in the 3-1 defeat in the Ukrainian capital – is eager for the team to use their experience of that game to spur them on against Mauricio Pochettino’s side in the Spanish capital.

“We’ve been a bit disappointed because we wanted to win the Champions League last year, which was not the case,” Mane is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying. “Real Madrid were the better team. We still have many things there, so let’s use this experience from last season to do everything to win against Tottenham.”
On the subject of the flags and banners all around Liverpool, the Senegal international said: “I was in the city, it was amazing because in the cars, everywhere, you can see Liverpool flags, which is a very good sign and extra motivation to give everything and make them proud.”
Mane has scored 26 goals and registered five assists in 49 games in all competitions this season, according to Transfermarkt.
