Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City all have made contact in regard to signing Aurelien Tchouameni from AS Monaco in the summer transfer window, according to Marca.
Marca have reported that Premier League trio Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City have enquired about the midfielder, who himself is open to a move to the Premier League.
Juventus want the 22-year-old as well, but the midfielder dubbed the ‘next Steven Gerrard’ does not fancy a move to Serie A.
Real Madrid have also been keeping tabs on Tchouameni, described by former Tottenham Hotspur director of football Paul Mitchell in Tuttosport in December 2021 as “a complete midfielder” who is “very fast and physically strong”.
Liverpool or Manchester City for Aurelien Tchouameni?
In our view, if Liverpool and Manchester City both make offers for Tchouameni, then it would be very tough for the France international midfielder to pick between the two clubs.

Both Liverpool and City have strong teams and both of them regularly compete for the major trophies.
And both clubs have world-class and dynamic managers who improve players.
In the end, it could come down to where Tchouameni thinks he would play more football.
Yes, Tchouameni is a very good and promising young player, but the midfielder is 22 now and can only improve and develop if he gets regular playing time.
