Arthur Melo has been fighting a difficult battle since joining Liverpool.
The Brazil international joined Jurgen Klopp’s side on a season-long loan from Juventus on transfer deadline day.
But he arrived at Liverpool majorly lacking in match fitness and if that wasn’t bad enough, then there was a lot of speculation [TMW] that Klopp was unhappy with the 26-year-old and planning to offload him as early as January.
Overall, it hasn’t been an easy first month to life as a Red for Arthur, who has only managed 13 minutes of senior football.
However, the player remains committed to making it work.

Arthur has had a number of games for Liverpool’s Under-21 side and their manager, Barry Lewtas, has revealed to Goal that the player sacrificed a weeks holidays in order to continue working on his fitness at Kirkby.
Lewtas said: “He could have had a week off but he didn’t want that. He wants to get fit, which shows his level of professionalism, and he’s been really good to have around.”
Actions speak louder than words and if you were to interpret Arthur’s actions, you can only believe that he’s fully invested in succeeding at Liverpool, based on Lewtas’s comments.
The Anfield outfit welcome Brighton to Merseyside on Saturday and Arthur could and definitely should be a lot fitter now compared to before the international break, so it wouldn’t be a big surprise to see him given a Premier League debut against the Seagulls.
