Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has been left out of Jurgen Klopp’s pre-season squad, who are flying to Germany, but interestingly Jordan Henderson is included.
According to the club’s official website, Fabinho hasn’t been included in Jurgen Klopp’s 32-man travelling squad, as Liverpool prepare for a gruelling pre-season schedule.
Jurgen Klopp is bidding to wrestle the Premier League crown away from the clutches of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, who have won the league three seasons running.
According to James Pearce of The Athletic, the decision to leave the Brazilian midfielder out of the squad was due to a bid being tabled by Al-Ittihad for Fabinho.
Liverpool reportedly took the decision on Friday to leave the midfielder out of the squad with his looming transfer seemingly edging closer.

TalkSport back this up further and say that the two clubs are close to agreeing the fee for the midfielder.
Liverpool targeting Lavia and Gravenberch as Fabinho replacement
Liverpool are believed to be looking for replacements for the midfielder, with Southampton’s Romeo Lavia, Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch, Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat and, perhaps surprisingly, City’s Kalvin Phillips on their radar.
Phillips could be an interesting option for Jurgen Klopp’s men. The midfielder, despite struggling at City since his £45 million move last summer, would fit perfectly into Liverpool’s midfield.
One of Jurgen Klopp’s desires for his ideal midfielder is for the man in the middle to be able to run and run.
James Milner and Jordan Henderson were fine examples of players who would run and run for the cause.
Phillips, having been trained under Marcelo Bielsa with his gruelling training sessions, will be well adept at training under another manager who has similar ideas about how his team should press.
The former Leeds United star could well be cheap, too, following his dismal first season at City under Guardiola.
