Liverpool Mayor Joe Anderson has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Ross Barkley’s transfer from Everton to Chelsea.
Chelsea have signed Barkley from Premier League rivals Everton in the January transfer window.
According to The Guardian, the London have had to pay the Toffees a transfer fee of £15 million in order to secure the services of the England international attacking midfielder.
The Telegraph has claimed that Chelsea wanted to sign the 24-year-old in the summer of 2017, but the Englishman turned down the move on the final day.
Liverpool Mayor Joe Anderson, who is an Everton fan, has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the transfer of Barkley from Everton to Chelsea – he is not pleased at all.
Former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy has also taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the London club’s decision to sign Barkley from Everton.
